Esther

Esther is literally the cutest girl in the whole world. I'm convinced of it! She was my play buddy, one of the first kids to sit in my lap and just sing songs with me during outside time. I love when she tugs my hand and needs me to play RIGHT NOW! Also she has one of the most creative imaginative minds. She loves when I play imagination games with her. Once we pretended we had little kittens we needed to take care of. That game lasted until the next morning with her! It just shows that her heart loves to take care and nurture things. She also likes to sing and color and hop up and down! She and her sister Brenda are both at the Rafiki Home and they are both so sensitive but very different. Esther is sad when others are sad even if she doesn't know why they are sad. Especially if something is upsetting Brenda, Esther will cling to her and be sad along with her. They have a very special bond. I wish I had a sister.
Esther is so cute I have a few videos of her I hope I can show you guys. What a sweetie.

Emma

Sweet little Emma! I think Emma is two or three years old but he is still so little. I love Emma. He is one of the sweethearts that everyone loves instantly. Emma likes to play outside, eat fruit, and run around with the big kids. He also has a very distinctive laugh! I remember Emma and Laura were attached at the hip pretty much instantly! He usually didn't talk much but then sometimes would surprise us all by saying one of our verses/songs out loud! I can't wait to see Emma as he grows up. He is a special part of the Rafiki Family and the other kids love to look out for him and include him in games and imagination play. Emma also usually played the lead role in the bedtime story skits just because he is so cute! Emma and I got a lot of quality time together because he stayed at home with Carol and Don while the older kids went to school. I got so close to my little buddy Emma. I miss you Emma!

Fauziya

Fauziya is such a gift from God. She is all smiles and all giggles! She loves to laugh at everything! We used to say "oh-koo-seka Fauziya" which means laughing Fauziya! haha and she would laugh so hard! The joy this girl has is an inspiration. She also loves to play with hair and be right RIGHT next to you always! haha she is so adorable.  I remember when I would trip and fall I could always count on Fauziya to have seen it and be laughing away! or when I was trying desperately to get the kids to listen to me and no one was hearing Fauziya would be giggling at my efforts. haha she is such a sweetie and i know that her laughter wasn't mocking me but that she is just an innocent heart that really is just happy! she would somehow remind me to laugh at things! She reminded me that it is just honestly hilarious how chaotic things could be at times and I think that the Lord laughs too! I can almost hear her sweet high-pitched squeals now and see her holding her stomach as she rolls on the ground. Goodness! I'm not exaggerating about this girl! Not a day went by where she didn't laugh so hard she cried! Imagine if all of us were that joy-filled! She is just a very sweet girl and I can see that God has something amazing planned for her.

Oh Fauziya! I miss you so much. I love you.

This Christmas I can't help but think of all my Rafiki kids. My heart longs to hug Fauziya and the other boys and girls. The love I felt from them is like nothing I've ever experienced before. I miss you my Rafiki friends.
