We went to an African Culture Center and had yummy food and watched the performers do some traditional dances from a lot of the different tribes of Uganda. Uganda has 63 tribes and all have a tribe leader, their own costumes and their own dances. It was very cool. And what a treat to get to see this!

these are the Ugandan guitars! so neat!

They welcomed us with drums and singing! The beats were so amazing!

Sorry the pictures aren't that great, especially when it got dark. But it was so neat every song they had different costumes and different dances.

Momma Monica and Momma Esther. Monica was so happy
to be there! this was her first time to ever come to the show and
her face was so happy the whole time. Esther said when she comes
to this show she forgets about all her worries and she can just
relax! It really was so incredible! The dances from Esther's tribe
and Lois' tribe were my favorites!

in the middle of the show they asked all the kids in the audience to come up and
to dance! they said anyone from 0 to 18 years but I went up too
just for fun!

In one dance the women carried pots on their head and kept
adding more pots! It was so neat! And they never stopped
dancing!

here is one of the performers teaching me how to dance. haha It was really fun! but really hard! I was sore in the morning!
